Plumbing Professionals / Designers
The choices made by plumbing professionals and designers can have a major impact on water demands and fixture performance. The flushing performance scores provided by MaP help plumbing professionals and designers maximize water savings while avoiding call-backs, customer complaints, and non-compensated work. Because the MaP program is voluntary, not all toilets in the marketplace are listed. Why take a chance – choose only MaP-tested toilet fixtures.
To date, over 3,000 residential tank-type toilet models from over 200 brands have been MaP tested.
Over 2,000 of these MaP-tested models are certified by the U.S. EPA WaterSense program, meaning that they flush with 1.28 gallons (4.8 litres) or less and have a MaP score of at least 350 grams.
More than 350 WaterSense-certified models meet the demanding requirements of MaP PREMIUM, i.e., they flush with 1.1 gallons (4 litres) or less and have a MaP score of at least 600 grams.
