Robo-Rebels on a path to solving a toilet problem

The Robo-Rebels of Suzanne Middle School in Walnut, California are passionate about water and have done something about it!  The novel device they have developed, the Pressure Potty Water Saving Sensor, is designed to reduce or eliminate the incidence of ‘phantom flushes’.  Robo-Rebels and their device recently won first place in a Los Angeles regional robotics competition.  As a result, they were invited to the World Championship event in Houston, Texas.  

This month, the Robo-Rebels reported on their device and its development at the 6th Emerging Water Technology Symposiumin Ontario, California, where these brilliant, innovative young people were a highlight of the sessions.
